Lounge
Working off the existing artwork above the lounge we have incorporated soft pinks and blues in the cushions to tie everything together. This also works in cohesively with the dining chairs to unify the space.
We suggest bringing in a large artificial plant to bring in some greenery into the space and balance out the colours. The rug selected is a light soft grey and blue to shape the lounge room. Keeping in mind that this will be going to your new home, we picked something neutral which in turn makes it easier to pair with a large variety of furniture pieces. Lastly, bringing in a variety of sizes and textures in the decor to add that extra complimentary layer and complete the space.
Second Living Room / Study
Our main objective with this space was to bring in some colour to reflect the rest of the house. In order to do this we have recommended you purchase a navy armchair with thin legs to sit between the doors/ windows under the shelving on the wall. Beside it we have a small light timber side table to work within the tight area.
We have also brought in a pink velvet desk chair to inject some colour into the desk area. This will break up the white of the desk. Once again it is recommended to place a neutral rug in the space to help shape the furniture in the room. By doing this it reduces the likeliness of furniture to be 'floating' in the space. Another artificial tree has been recommended to give the room some life along with some decor pieces specifically for the bookshelf to go between book stacks. this helps break up the books and style the shelving.
Master Bedroom
Following on from the living and dining room we have continued the use of blues and pinks in this room. As this is the master we have layered a coverlet and throw on the duvet cover. We have also layered multiple textures and shapes within the cushions to give some depth to the bed.
By using a fresh white linen quilt cover set it keeps the room light, in turn giving the illusion of a bigger space and allows the colours to work together to create a feature area. To compliment the colours we have also added in some solid pink lamps and layered decor items to fill the large exisiting bedsides. As we are bringing in a grey bedhead it is recommended that the artwork goes above the bench seat so that it doesn't overcrowd the room in one spot.
